The names of Roman Opalka, Loris Gréaud and Claude Leveque circulating behind the scenes to be the next artist of the French Pavilion of the Venice Biennale. Finally Claude Leveque was proposed by the Director of CulturesFrance, Olivier Poivre d'Arvor, together with Olivier Kaeppelin delegate to the Arts and Business Council, the Minister of Culture.

Christian Bernard, director of MAMCO Geneva will be the curator.
