The winner of the Hasselblad Foundation International Award in Photography will be announced on 7th March.

Hasselblad Foundation International Award in Photography is granted for exceptional photographic achievement and amounts to SEK 1,000,000 (approximately EUR 110,000).

On 25th October, 2013, an exhibition of the award winner’s work will open at the Foundation’s exhibition hall, Hasselblad Center, Gothenburg Museum of Art. In connection therewith, a symposium will be arranged with the award winner.

2009: Robert Adams, Astoria, Oregon, USA
2008: Graciela Iturbide, Mexico City

The Hasselblad Foundation is an independent non-profit entity, created to promote research and academic teaching in the natural sciences and photography. This aim is achieved by means of donations and grants for scientific research through the Hasselblad Foundation International Award in Photography, as well as several scholarships and grants for research projects in photography.
