BIFF, Bangkok International Fashion Fair, and BIL, Bangkok International Leather Fair, are established professional fashion tradeshows within Thailand and its neighboring countries.

Recently a designer space has been developed within the shows. Until now it only took a small part of the tradeshow space, but this will change in March! Showroom Romeo accompangnies BIFF & BIL 2013 on its way to create a new, exciting overall concept for this extended designer area, with a strong selection of talented, upcoming Thai designers.

Supported by the established designers of the Bangkok Fashion Society this event unites the Bangkok Fashion Scene in a completely new approach. As witnesses of this important change a strong selection of international guests has been invited to join the upcoming event and experience the creative and innovative potential Thai fashion design, as the japanese designer and Modem's partner Steven Tach

Singapore Esquire is only one of those, looking forward to the event, saying:
“The project and line-up is an exciting one! The Thai designers
have been creating a really dynamic scene in fashion and art and
the energy there is great.”

Furthermore BIFF & BIL will collaborate with ELLE Fashion Week Bangkok. By uniting two of the most important fashion events in Thailand, Bangkok Fashion makes another big step in gaining the international recognition ist designers deserve.

When people think of Thailand, they think of: Holidays, Luxury resorts, exotic, healthy food, Wellness... Thailand awakes beautiful images. These images will be embraced by the concept of the tradeshow: Youthful, chic holidays - with an exotic touch. It is all about anxiously awaiting the holiday season. The reason: Thai designers normally (and naturally) do not distinguish between summer and winter seasons as European or Western designers do, that is
why the new BIFF & BIL 2013 designer concept focuses on the high-end summer and holiday market. And the accessory offer makes a big part of the selection as Thailand is known for its rich variation handicraft here.
The focus is on markets that have a warm climate all year long, or the summer season during the “Western Winter”. By making this choice BIFF & BIL 2013 chooses a niche that has not been covered by any other tradeshow yet: Light summer collections during the official winter season. A big step forward for the tropical market!
