FRANCE / Paris: Didier Rittener to receive Drawing Now prize

The Drawing Now award has been given to Didier Rittener, represented by the gallery Lange+Pult.

Didier Rittener received 5 000€ by the Endowment Fund for Contemporary Drawing supported by SOFERIM.

The Fund, created in 2011 by Christine Phal President of Drawing Now Paris, designed to promote the development and influence of contemporary drawing and graphic works both in France and abroad.

Didier Rittener was born in 1969. He received a graduate degree in mixed media from Ecole Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne in Switzerland in 1996. He has exhibited at Galerie Sollertis in Toulouse, MAMCO in Geneva, and Galerie arte ricambi in Verona. He is a part time Professor for Drawing at the Ecole Supérierue des Beaux-Arts de Genève and currently lives and works in Lausanne, Switzerland.
