The jury of the 24°Festival of the Mode and the Photography of Hyères has plebiscited….

- Grand Prix du jury l'Oréal professionnel & Prix 1,2,3, :
Marite Mastina et Rolands Peterkops (Lettonie), mixed collection: “Private detective”.
Mārīte Mastiņa & Rolands Pēterkops are graduates of the Latvian Academy of Arts .
They like to incorporate other unrelated media with fashion, and so for this collection they have directed a short film parody, essentially inspired by the codes of “film noir”, and employing the most hackneyed stereotypes: the detective's trench coat, the heroine's sexy dress, the spy's overcoat, etc.

Linus Bill (1982) studied at the University of Arts in Zurich. He lives in Bienne (Switzerland) and since 2006 has exhibited in Hamburg, Zurich and New York.
Linus Bill’s work is compulsive. He photographs everything, all the time.Recent photos join the old ones in his archives, which he draws on to put together a set for an exhibition or a publication. .Each image is reproduced on a large scale using serigraphy, a process that endows these shots with a new pictorial character that is unique to each one. Reality as constituted by Linus Bill is a weird, comical and tender puzzle, totally new.
