“The Island of Montmajour" an exhibition by Christian Lacroix with the Cirva can be seen until November 3.

As a young boy growing up in Arles, the Abbey of Montmajour was a treasure island to Christian Lacroix.

Today, the Centre des Monuments Nationaux gives the designer free rein of the abbey to put together an exhibition from the CIRVA’s collection (International Centre for Research on Glass and Contemporary Arts, located in Marseille). It will feature precious religious objects, sculptures, photographs, costumes, light installations and enamel work.
