From January 13th to 16th 2015, Pitti Uomo will once again establish itself in the city of Florence, at the Fortezza da Basso. For this occasion, the trade-show will invite some special guests to celebrate creativity and heritage with a range of exclusive events. For the upcoming edition, Pitti appointed Marni as the Menswear Guest Designer, the New York-based luxury label Hood by Air as Pitti Special Guest, and invited Olivier Saillard to contribute to the Fondazione Pitti Discovery Program once again.

"I am very happy that Consuelo Castiglioni accepted our invitation to present the new look in the Marni men's collection on the Pitti catwalk," explained Raffaello Napoleone, CEO of Pitti Immagine, in an official statement. In line with its cutting-edge approach to fashion, Hood By Air will host a special event, made to measure for Pitti Uomo. After the success of Vestirsi da Uomo presented during the 2011 edition of Pitti, Olivier Saillard, Director of the Palais Galliera, will be back at the Florentine trade-show with Cloakroom, an original performance - written and directed by Saillard himself, and starring Tilda Swinton, a much acclaimed actress, style icon and muse.
