The Salon International de la Lingerie (Sil) and Interfilière are considered to be Paris’ leading trade-shows for lingerie and beachwear. They will both take place at the convention and exhibition center, Porte de Versailles, in Paris, from January 24th to 26th. This year’s main them will be “ultra-green” - a focus on sustainable lingerie - and the glamorous “Golden Age” of the 30s and 40s. The two trade-shows, both organized by Eurovet, will showcase 480 lingerie brands for women and men, as well as 150 fabric collections, with a special focus on silk. Furthermore, Sil's director Taya de Reyniès announced the launch of a coaching program, which will include both workshops and style conferences, with the aim to create a synergy between buyers and brands. This initiative, together with other special projects in the making, will help to reach the goal of 25 000 visitors set up for this year's edition.
