Tokyo Runway, a Japanese b to c fashion event, will be part of the official program of the Fall/Winter 2015-16 edition of Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week, with a special event titled Tokyo Runway meets New York, on February 19th, 11:00am at the Salon, Lincoln Center.

“Choosing to show at New York Fashion Week rather than other fashion capitals
was a natural choice, as New York City is celebrated for its diversity and a kindred
spirit with Tokyo’s energy, eclectic tastes, and excitement,”
said Shinji Hirato, Producer of Tokyo Runway meets New York.

In this context, seven brands, including Aula, Double Standard Clothing, Dresscamp, Fig & Viper, Han Ahn Soon, mastermind feat. A-Girl’s, and Riccimie New York will represent Tokyo’s whimsical taste for fashion. In addition, Tokyo Runway will promote trendy Japanese goods off the catwalk, with a special display. The event will take place on February 19th (11am), at New York’s Lincoln Center. In addition, the organizers of Tokyo Runway are also planning a jumble exhibition of Japanese brands from February 20th to 25th (closed February 21st and 22nd), at Maguire Steele, in order to further highlight and promote Japanese fashion.
