Gucci’s Creative Director Frida Giannini and CEO Patrizio di Marco have both stepped down. Kering announced today that Marco Bizzari, head of the company’s luxury-couture and leather goods division, has been appointed CEO of the Italian label. Giannini and di Marco, who are are also a couple in real life and reputed as the ‘Gucci duo', announced their departure for the first quarter of 2015. Di Marco will leave on January 1st, while Giannini will exit at the end of February 2015, after showing her Fall-Winter 2015 collection at Milan Fashion Week. Her replacement will be announced early next year.
