According to the official press release, Expo Milano 2015 organizers have revealed that Giorgio Armani will honor the city of Milan with a great event on April 30th, 2015.

In fact, Armani will celebrate its 40 years with a special runway show, and will also mark the beginning of the Universal Exposition. “Expo Milano 2015 thanks Giorgio Armani, a symbol of Made in Italy that is internationally renowned for his style and excellence, for agreeing to become ‘Special Ambassador’ of International Registered Exhibition and to represent Italian fashion at the exhibition,” reads the press release.

In addition, WWD reports that Armani, will install a permanent exhibition of his creations and drawings, as well as host further events and initiatives linked with fashion and design with a focus on the support of young talents.

Expo Milano 2015 will be held from May 1st to October 31st. The event is expecting an estimated 20 million visitors.
