UNITED KINGDOM / London: Public School Wins The International Woolmark Prize

Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne, the designers of the New York-based menswear brand Public School, have won the inaugural menswear International Woolmark Prize. The announcement was made today in London, during the London Men's collections. The prize, which requires finalists to present a merino wool collection, was judged by Style.com’s Editor at Large Tim Blanks, British GQ’s Editor-in-ChiefDylan Jones, fashion designer Paul Smith, and menswear style-icon Nick Wooster.

Osborne and Chow, who will show their next collection during New York Fashion Week in February, will receive funding and additional stockists as a part of the prize.
