Cathy Horyn announced her return to the fashion industry, after resigning from The International New York Times in February 2014 for personal reasons. She will serve as Critic-at-Large for The Cut, and will cover both, the Fall/Winter 2015-16 and Spring/Summer 2016 collections in New York and Paris, for The New York Magazine-owned website.

In the past year, Horyn kept on expressing her sharp thoughts and opinion on her Twitter account, and wrote several stories for The International New York Times, including a column on Saint Laurent for T Magazine. Horyn is also currently writing a book that will be published by Rizzoli, in which she analyzes the role of The International New York Times in fashion journalism. A publication date has yet to be confirmed.

According to Stella Bugbee, The Cut’s Editorial Director, Horyn will not only contribute with fashion reviews and articles, but her role will be expanded to potentially include other mediums.
