The Guggenheim Museum Bilbao will host a retrospective dedicated to Niki de Saint Phalle (1930–2002) from February 27th to June 11th, 2015. After a solo exhibition at the Grand Palais in Paris last Fall, the work of Niki de Saint Phalle will be exhibited in Bilbao, on a 2,000 square meters exhibition space. The retrospective will feature more than 200 artworks and documents, in order to highlight the artist’s career and personal life. In addition to Saint Phalle’s most famous sculptures, such as the so-called Nanas, the exhibition will include paintings, prints, experimental videos, as well as some unpublished artworks.
