A total of 26 fashion designers have been chosen by the Selection Committee of the LVMH Prize under Delphine Arnault’s supervision, who stated that « the selection reflects the strong trends of today's fashion ».

"Men’s ready-to-wear confirms its creativity, the influence of street wear is bigger than ever, and womenswear is strong," she added. "Designers come from all over the world: U.S.A., China, U.K., Belgium, Italy, Japan, Denmark, Ukraine and more. It is the responsibility of the LVMH Group, as the leader of its industry, to identify and support young designers and I am delighted that we can do so with so many talented candidates."

The designers selected for this second edition include 15 womenswear designers, 6 menswear designers, and 5 men’s and womenswear designers. Furthermore, three designers from last year — Jacquemus, Craig Green and Marques Almeida — have been selected for the second time.

The 26 designers are now invited to meet the 45 international experts from the fashion world on March 4th and 5th in Paris. The 45 experts will then select the 8 finalists who will be presented to the Jury at the end of May. The selected brands include Agi & Sam, Andrea Jiapei Li, Anton Belinskiy, Arthur Arbesser, Astrid Andersen, Baja East, Coperni, Craig Green, Devon Halfnight Leflufy, Faustine Steinmetz, Huishan Zhang, Jacquemus, Jourden, Koche, Marques Almeida, Nabil Nayal, Nasir Mazhar, Off-White, Orley, Ryan Lo, Ryan Roche, Sankuanz, Vetements, WrittenAfterwards, Yoshikazu Yamagata, Xiao Li, and Ximon Lee.

The Jury is composed of nine artistic directors from LVMH Maisons, including Jonathan Anderson (Loewe), Nicolas Ghesquière (Louis Vuitton), Marc Jacobs (Marc Jacobs), Karl Lagerfeld (Fendi), Humberto Leon and Carol Lim (Kenzo), Phoebe Philo (Céline), Raf Simons (Dior), Riccardo Tisci (Givenchy); as well as Delphine Arnault, Jean-Paul Claverie (Advisor to Bernard Arnault and Director of LVMH Sponsorship), and Pierre-Yves Rousse (Chairman and CEO of the LVMH fashion division).

The winner will receive €300,000 and a year-long mentorship by an industry professional.
