No Season showroom announced a pop-up showcase of a group of Montreal-based designers on April 1st and 2nd, 2015, with a reception cocktail on April 1st, from 6pm on. Well known for its sharp selection of cutting-edge brands, the Parisian showroom is a powerful launchpad for new talents. The event, which is promoted and supported by the Chambre de Commerce du Montréal Métropolitain, will feature established as well as emerging designers, specialized in outerwear and in the manufacturing of fur and leather clothing.
The showcase aims to create a creative bridge between Paris and Montreal, while highlighting their potential as dynamic, fashion-forward cities. As of today, Montreal is home to several fashion institutions, such as the Fondation de la mode de Montréal, fashion designers like Rad Hourani, and reputed fashion schools such as LaSalle College.
