From June 16th to 19th, 2015, Pitti Uomo will once again turn Florence upside down at the Fortezza da Basso. For the upcoming edition, Pitti appointed Moschino by Jeremy Scott as the Menswear Guest Designer, and the LVMH 2014 awarded Thomas Tait as the Womenswear Guest Designer, while Carlo Brandelli for Kilgour will be featured in the so-called Pitti 88 Designer Project. In addition, Fondazione Pitti invited Nino Cerruti to contribute to the Fondazione Pitti Discovery Program with a special exhibition curated by Italian journalist and taste-maker Angelo Flaccavento.

In this context, Jeremy Scott will present his first runway show featuring men’s fashion since he has been appointed at the creative helm of Moschino. "In Jeremy Scott’s collections, we see the humor, the irreverence, the tendency to explode myths, and the manipulation of pop iconography – all that we knew to be part of Franco Moschino’s spirit and designs," said Raffaello Napoleone, CEO of Pitti Immagine, in an official release.

Showcasing in Italy for the first time, the London-based Canadian designer Thomas Tait will present a minimal-inspired and sharp collection in a historical location in the heart of Florence. Finally, Carlo Brandelli, the Creative Director of the Savile-row brand Kilgour will make his Italian debut this year at Pitti with a special project focused on heritage and innovation.
