The English Gentlemen will no longer be part of London Collections: Men, the British fashion event dedicated to men’s fashion.

Over the last 5 seasons, The English Gentlemen showcased the finest example of British elegance offered by Savile Row tailors and the gentlemen’s houses of St James’s, through a series of events curated by Jo Levin, British GQ’s Fashion Director, in collaboration with The Woolmark Company.

The event took place at London’s most exclusive settings, such as Lord’s Cricket Ground, The Cabinet War Rooms and The Apsley House, reminding us that the British capital is a major reference for men’s fashion and style and has been so for over two centuries. “We now feel that the English Gentleman series has come to a natural end and it is time to give room to other ideas and initiatives,” stated the leading Savile Row firm Anderson and Sheppard in an official release.

Many of the firms that participated to The English Gentlemen initiative will be featured in the London Collections: Men’s official schedule this June, in addition to other events which focus on tailoring.
