Artists such as Korakrit Arunanondchai, Pia Camil, Samara Golden, Aki Sasamoto and Allyson Vieira will present site-specific works at the Projects section, which will also feature a special tribute to the Flux-Labyrinth. Frieze New York’s daily program of keynote lectures, panel debates and discussions will focus on relevant topics such as Whom do museums serve? and Aesthetics’ of ‘Female’ ‘Attractiveness’ with exclusive participation of art critics, artists, directors and curators such as Thelma Golden, Director and Chief Curator of The Studio Museum in Harlem, Jerry Saltz, Editor of the New York Magazine, and the artist Paul McCarthy. In addition, the Frieze Education program will give high school students and children from underserved communities access to art, with a combination of workshops and school group tours. Participants leading this year’s workshops include artists Urs Fischer and Julie Mehretu, Triple Canopy, Cleopatra’s, the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs (DCLA) and Material for the Arts (MFTA).
