From May 15th to 18th, 2015, the city of Vicenza will host the second edition of Origin Passion and Beliefs, (OPB), a new fashion trade-show which aims to promote Italian craftsmanship, as well as emerging designers on an international level.

The second edition of Origin Passion and Beliefs will once again take place in Vicenza, a city that is considered to be the heartbeat of Italian manufacturing and apparel production. The Region of Veneto, indeed, is home to thousands of Italian artisans, entrepreneurs and family-owned fashion businesses. In this context, the seventh generation of weavers, finest leather goods manufacturers, jewelers and textile producers will join forces with Italy’s groundbreaking technology and 3D-printing giants.

The event started in 2014, as the result of a collaboration between the fashion platform Not Just A Label (NJAL) and Fiera di Vicenza. It will bring together over 100 Italian manufacturers and suppliers and over 100 up-and-coming brands selected by NJAL across five continents. In line with NJAL’s scouting activities, the trade-show will focus on spotting new pioneers of the fashion industry, in order to support them within a creative infrastructure, where both business and artistry can prosper in equal measure.
