Following the indiscriminate attacks at the National Museum of Bardo, Tunis, which took place on March 18th 2015, luxury brands have donated garments for an exhibition sale in benefit of the museum, on the occasion of the 7th edition of Fashion Week Tunis (FWT).

According to an official release, the brands Azzedine Alaïa, Saint Laurent and BCBG Max Azria — who all have a designer of Tunisian origins at their helm — as well as Sonia Rykiel, Pierre Cardin, Agnès b., Chantal Thomass, Longchamp and On Aura Tout Vu, among others, have donated an item for the benefit of the National Museum of Bardo.

The exhibition sale will be staged by Tunisian artist Meriem Bouderbala and exhibited from May 28th to 30th at Dar Zarrouk in Sidi Bou Said. In addition, to this one-of-a-kind exhibition sale, FWT will introduce a dozen of new Tunisian fashion designers during its 4-day long runway show event, and will also host a best-of exhibition at Gallery Joyce in Paris, from June 10th to 16th.
