CC-Tapis, Patricia Urquiola and Milano Design have joined forces to support the earthquake victims in Nepal earthquake and its major aftershocks that occurred respectively on April 27th and May 12th, killing over 8,000 people and injuring more than 19,000.

Organized by the CC-Tapis ONLUS Organization CC – For Education, in collaboration with Patricia Urquiola and Milano Design, the charity sale for Nepal will take place at 6.30pm on Thursday, May 28th on via San Simpliciano, in Milan.

For the past 16 years, CC-Tapis has been realizing artisanal carpets in Nepal with sustainable production techniques. In addition, with its non-profit organization CC – For Education, CC-Tapis has been supporting and promoting children education in the country’s poorest areas. In collaboration with Milano Design’s institutions Brera Design District, Dilmos, Spazio Pontaccio, Spotti, Understate, and the graphic designer Patricia Urquiola, CC – For Education has organized a charily event in which design pieces will be put on sale. The guests will also have the possibility to buy quake-proof houses, as well as food and survival kits. The benefits of the sale will go to CC – For Education, in support of further humanitarian relief operations in Nepal.
