SPAIN / Madrid: Momad Metropolis' New Market Potential

The Spanish international fashion trade-show MOMAD Metropolis is ready for a new business strategy. The upcoming September 2015 edition of the show organized by IFEMA, the International Textiles, Footwear and Accessories Exhibition, will have a special focus on footwear and accessories, with four halls exclusively dedicated to these two fashion segments. In addition, starting next Winter, the event will take place in two phases in order to improve the promotion of the respective segments – one in February 2016, which will be dedicated to textiles, and another one in March 2016, which will be dedicated to footwear. The trade-show will be unified once again in September 2016, for the Spring/Summer 2017 edition. Other future plans see the merging of the Women’s Fashion, Footwear Made in Spain, Youth, as well as the Street and Urban Fashion sectors, into one single area dedicated to contemporary fashion. Finally, following the incorporation of the Barcelona trade-show Little Barcelona and the opening of its new section COSMO KIDS, which was inaugurated last year, MOMAD aims to further expand its children clothing activity, while boosting its Men's Fashion department.

The 5th edition of Momad Metrópolis will take place from September 11th to 13th, 2015, in halls 2, 4, 12, and 14 at the Feria de Madrid.
