The ephemeral theme park, which is a sarcastic take on consumerism and the world’s status quo, is set on a beach in Weston-super-Mare, at the former Tropicana Lido, until September 27th. Crowds flocked to the opening last week and the tickets are currently sold out until September 7th.

Banksy’s theme park inspired outdoor exhibition features 18 satirical installations that have caused much ink to flow ever since Dismaland opened its gates on August 21st. In addition to Banksy, who is the mastermind behind the exhibition and created 10 new artworks for the occasion, ‘the UK’s most disappointing new visitor attraction’ features internationally reputed artists, including Damien Hirst, James Joyce, Laura Lancaster, Kate MacDowell and Huda Beydoun, among many others. In addition to the theme park installations, Dismaland features live-events and concerts on August 28th, September 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th.Visitors to the event can take a walk around Cinderella’s decrepit castle — where the princess that died in a coach crash is harassed by paparazzi — stare at model boats that are packed with refugees, or carry balloons that read I’m an imbecile.
