ITALY / Milan: Frankie Morello Boosts Global Expansion

Frankie Morello just announced a new retail strategy to boost sales growth. In fact, he iconic Italian brand designed by Maurizio Modica and Pierfrancesco Gigliotti is focusing on expanding its presence in key markets, such as China, Russia and Middle East. "We strongly believe in this new retail strategy (…), it is a way to strengthen the brand and to bring the world our experience and creative vision," stated the designer-duo in an official release.

Frankie Morello inaugurated its first store in the heart of Shanghai’s shopping hub in May 2015. After this first success, the brand opened 15 additional shops across the country. Two other stores are set to open in 2016 in Dalian and Chongqing, to complete Frankie Morello’s expansion in Mainland China. The brand has recently consolidated its presence in Doha and Dubai, where it is has opened three and two flagships respectively, and plans to further boost its activity across the region with new store openings later this year. In order to tap into the Russian market, Frankie Morello is going to inaugurate a store in Sochi this fall.
