On the occasion of the New York Fashion Week, the Italian brand GUIDI will host a special showcase of Laurent Segretier’s artworks from September 14th to 16th on 104 Charlton Street in West Soho.

Segretier’s photography and video works have an intimate and cutting-edge appeal that perfectly mirrors GUIDI’s fashionable aesthetics. In fact, Segretier’s artworks seamlessly feature digital and analog elements, in addition to GUIDI’s shoes and leather goods, which stay for artisanal know-how and avant-garde design. The special event is co-hosted by StyleZeitgeist Magazine and marks the official debut of GUIDI on the American retail market.

Founded in 1896 by the small Tuscan shoe shop Conceria Guidi e Rosellini, GUIDI preserves the craftsmanship of Italian 14th century cobblers, while producing limited edition shoes and bags with a contemporary look. Ruggero Guidi currently runs the tannery and supervises the brand’s creative direction, always seeking for the perfect balance between technical innovation and heritage.
