On November 19th, Studio BrichetZiegler will inaugurate a Parisian pop-up store at Espace Modem, located on 74 rue Quincampoix, in Paris' vibrant Marais district. In this context, Caroline Ziegler and Pierre Brichet, the creative duo behind the design company, will introduce their latest pieces, as well as the entire By Hands collection. Featuring daily objects and small furniture, By Hands is a design brand launched by Studio BrichetZiegler in 2015 with the aim to express and preserve the beauty of handmade items. At a time in which design objects are often mass-produced, By Hands revives the feeling of owning something unique — a design object, which is at the same time functional and aesthetically appealing. By Hands focuses on simple shapes, enhancing the high quality of primal materials. Copper, wood, leather, concrete, paper or steel are hand-worked, according to a various range of techniques and methods. Each piece bears the marks of the work process and is available in a limited edition only.
