Interfilière and Mode City announce a new location for their Spring/Summer 2016 edition. The two trade-shows will move back to Lyon, where they used to take place until 2008.

Eurovet, the company that manages and organizes Interfilière and Mode City, decided to relocate due to schedule overlapping with the UEFA Euro 2016 Finals. The decision has been taken prior to the Paris Attacks on November 13th, 2015. As stated in an official release, Eurovet opted for the move to Lyon in order to avoid logistic restrictions, overcrowding and circulation problems.

"First of all, we'd like to make it clear that this decision was made before the tragic 13 November events in Paris," explained an Eurovet official. "The necessity of keeping you informed as early as possible to help you plan your trips has unfortunately coincided with the aftermath of the terrible terrorist attacks. We confirm that the Mode City (Salon International de la Lingerie et du Swimwear) and Interfilière editions will take place from January 23rd to 25th, 2016, at the Parc des Expositions de la Porte de Versailles in Paris. Security measures will, of course, be reinforced and adapted to the current situation. You can count on our commitment to act with responsibility and strength to serve your profession. And we count on the mobilisation of each one of you to support Paris and the values of courage and life. These are our values and they must endure."

In addition to the January editions, the two trade-shows will take place at the Lyon Eurexpo Exhibition Center from July 9th to 11th, 2016, while the UEFA Euro 2016 Finals will take place on July 10th.
