France’s Culture Minister Fleur Pellerin has named Jean-Pierre Blanc Chevalier of the Legion of Honor. The director of the International Festival of Fashion and Photography in Hyères was already named Chevalier de L’Ordre National du Mérite and Officier des Arts et des Lettres by the French government. In addition, the French fashion designer Alexandre Vauthier was named Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres, while the architect India Mahdavi received the Officier des Arts et des Lettres medal.
