The long career of the greatest rock and roll band of all time is celebrated with an exhibition in London. On display from 5 April to 4th September 2016 at the Saatchi Gallery.

From a blues band of the Swinging Sixties London to inspirational cultural icons who go beyond the boundaries of the music scene. From the top of the charts to the win of two Grammy Awards. The Rolling Stones constituted a legend who conquered three generations, seducing millions of people for the strong personality of the protagonists and the originality of the live performances. Transgression, revolution and especially rock ’n roll... the British group marked the history of world music, becoming exponents of political and social evolutions.

Celebrating the band’s fifty year history, the Saatchi Gallery in London inaugurated [red]“Exhibitionism”[/red], the most comprehensive and immersive retrospective ever devoted to the half a century of the Rolling Stones. A journey that retraces all the stages of the band, from the beginnings to the present, in which the public can immerse itself in the backstage or directly on stage through a virtual simulation.

Taking over two floors and divided into 9 thematic galleries, “Exhibitionism” combines over 500 original Stones’ artefacts, which encompass the aspects of the design, art, films, photos, fashion and shows. From the extensive personal archives ranging between costumes, diaries, poster and album cover to important collaborations and work by a vast array of artists like Alexander McQueen, Martin Scorsese and Andy Warhol.

As the official apparel sponsor of the exhibition, Tommy Hilfiger has launched a capsule collection featuring graphic T-shirts and outerwear adorned with Rolling Stones imagery.
