The [size=14][red]Council of Fashion Designers of America[/red][/size] has finally announced the talented winners of this [size=14][red]CFDA Fashion Award[/red][/size]. The ceremony took place at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York, the last June 6th 2016, hosted by Joel McHale to celebrate the David Bowie memory a with performances of Jennifer Hudson and Michael C. Hall.

[size=14]The CFDA’s 2016 honorees are :[/size]

- Marc Jacobs for Proenza Shouler won the WOMENSWEAR award.
- Thom Browne has been chosen as the MENSWEAR designer of the year.
- Rachel Mansur and Floriana Gavriel, for the brand Mansur Gavriel have been awarded as the designers of the Year in the ACCESSORIES category.
- Brandon Maxwell won the Swarowski Womenswear Award.
- Alex, Matthew and Samantha Orley won the Swarowski Menswear Award for the brand Orley.
- Paul Andrew won the Swarowski Accessory Design Award.
- Norma Kamali won the Geoffrey Beene the Lifetime Achievement Award.
- Donna Karan won the Founder’s Award in Honor of Eleanor Lambert.
- Alessandro Michele, for Gucci, won the International Award.
- And Beyoncé won the Fashion Icon Award.
