Located in the heart of Paris, the [red]Monnaie de Paris[/red] founded in 864, or Paris Mint, has been cultivating for twelve centuries the traditional knowledge related to precious metals. After Cartier, Sèvres-Cité de la Céramique and Baccarat, the monetary institution joined forces with [red]Van Cleef & Arpels[/red] to create a unique collection of coins mixing diamonds and precious metals, released on October 1st.

The sum of this union: a currency equivalent of one kilo of pure gold, adorned with a butterfly crimped of thirty-five gems. This 5000 euros coin is only minted in eleven copies. There are also five other currency models of gold or silver, from 10 to 500 euros.

The master engraver has managed to transcribe the universe full of nature and of the jeweler imagination. Fairy, leaves, flowers and beaded outlines, cover this subtle collection in limited editions.
