A Victorian garden – almost a paradisiacal jungle inhabited by tropical birds and framed by waterfalls – was the protagonist of a dreamlike setting of the Avant Toi evening event, hold during the Fuorisalone on Wednesday the 10th of April, realized by art director Yuri Catania.
All rooms of the Avant Toi Home, from the lounge area to the bathroom, from the bedroom to the living room, were permeated by the joy and artistic liveliness typical of the Belle Epoque, thanks to a live performance by Matteo Bittante and his dancers, who engaged the guests in discovering the beauty and authenticity of precious elements from the Avant Toi Home collection.
The exploration of this Eden jungle ended in the Avant Toi living room, where Chef a Porter and Flower Artist Giò Ratti composed edible floral creations to taste while being seduced by the captivating natural surroundings.
The Avant Toi Home collection, created by designer Mirko Ghignone, co-founder with his sister Fiorella Ghignone, reflects the experimental approach in the treatment of cashmere, wool, and other noble materials such as silk and linen, always a characteristic of the Avant Toi world.
Elements of design such as blankets, covers, pillows, carpets and tablecloths become extraordinary objects, which transform the home into a warm and embracing magical sanctuary.
