More than 5000 Australians get naked in front of the Opera of Sydney on Monday for a photography session managed by the famous American photographer Spencer Tunick.

The event was intended to celebrate the Shrove Tuesday of the homosexuals and the lesbians of Sydney.

Spencer Tunick is a customary of this kind of collective session staging hundreds of naked persons. The most impressive took place in May, 2007 on the square of Zocalo of Mexico City in the presence of 18 ' 000 persons.

The photographer rejects any dimension exhibitionist or erotic in his work which reveals, according to him, the vulnerability of the human life in townscapes.
