Louis Vuitton just announced the Louis Vuitton Young Arts Project.

As part of a long tradition of patronage, this project aims at letting young Londoners discover art. It represents an unprecedented partnership between Louis Vuitton and the five major London art institutions : the Hayward Gallery, the Royal Academy of Arts, the South London Gallery, the Tate Britain and the Whitechapel Gallery.

Annoucend at the opening of the new store on New Bond Street, this three years programme will have its central point during the 2012 London Olympics Game

This initiative will give the opportunity to young people (13-25 years old) recruited from schools and educational centers to meet the protagonist of the contemporary British art scene : the museum directors, the curators, the artists and the collectors.

Among those young people, a small group will participate, every year, to five days internship to introduce them to museums.
