The Maison Martin Margiela '20' The Exhibition, will be held at Somerset House from June 3rd to September the 5th. After its great success at the MoMu in Antwerp and at the Haus der Kunst in Munich, the exhibition is presented in London in a rearrenged version. Thanks to the strict collaboration between Martin Margiela and MoMu (as co-curator) the exhibition will be configurated for the "Embankment Galleries" of the Somerset House.

Retracing 20 years of Belgian designer creations, the exhibition purpose is to highlight the essence and the philosophy of Margiela’s works throught installations, photos, videos and pieces from the men and women collections ( like the famous "Tabi" boots or some article specially reproposed for the Event.

Former assistant of Jean-Paul Gaultier and former student of the Antwerp Fine Arts Academy, Martin Margiela has created his own maison in 1988.
