The buyers participation at Pitti Immagine increased by 6.5% (with a 12% increase for foreign buyers) at last edition.
Pitti Immagine welcomed over 32,000 visitors during its last edition. The tradeshow, which just ended, noticed a economic recovery for Florence and the fashion world in general . The participation at Pitti and Pitti W registered an increased of exhibitors, with 1047 collection presented, a true record for this event. Another positive element was the growth of buyers, 19,200 for this edition, with a 6.5% increase compared to June 2009. The foreign market activity was strong, leaded by Germany and with an important participation of Spain, United Kingdom, United States and Russia.
