The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode unveiled the preliminary Paris Fashion Week schedule. A total of 74 houses, 42 runway shows, and 32 presentations, will present their Fall Winter 2024 collections from January 16 to 21, 2024.

The event will kick off on Jan. 16 with the Lvmh Prize finalist Burç Akyol showing at 4:30 p.m. and close on Jan. 21 with the return of GmbH at 7 p.m. Balmain and Valentino will be back on the men’s calendar for the first time since the onset of the pandemic in 2020, both on January 20 at 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., respectively. Since their last appearance on the schedule, Valentino has shown its men's collection in June during Milan Fashion Week, after three years of co-ed shows, while Balmain opted for a showroom format to present its menswear line designed by Olivier Rousteing.

Pharrell Williams’ collection as Louis Vuitton’s menswear creative director will be presented on Jan. 16 at 8 p.m. While Matthew M. Williams will part away from Givenchy as creative director on Jan. 1, the French maison will be showing the fall-winter 2024 collection designed by its studio on a runway show on Jan. 17 at 2:30 p.m.

Other brands on the calendar include Auralee, designed by Japanese Ryota Iwai; Winnie, the emerging brand of Idris Balogun, Shanghai-based designer Ziggy Chen, London-based designer Grace Wales Bonner, the winner of BFC/GQ Designer Fashion Fund; Jet Set, known for its luxury, high-performance apparel coupled with a passion for provocative and progressive designs; and Kidsuper, who won the Karl Lagerfeld Special Jury Prize in 2021.

Making their debut on the official Parisian calendar are the contemporary label Meta Campania Collective, Ouest Parisled by Arthur Robert, and menswear brand Kartik Research founded by Lvmh Prize semifinalist Kartik Kumra.
