Pringle of Scotland presented in Milan its new collection and a collaboration project with the Serpentine Gallery with Franz Ferdinand as special guests.
Great success for the presentation event of the new Pringle of Scotland s/s 2011 collection, held during the Milano fashion week. The event took place in the famous 10 Corso Como boutique. The brand celebrates its 195 years with a new collection and collaboration with the Londonian Serpentine Gallery.
For this occasion, the brand invites several personalities such as Tilda Swinton, Terry Jones (director of I.D. magazine) and the photographer Ryan McGinley to design items inspired by the cult pieces of the brand. The new collection, which continues its research into new knitting techniques, was presented during a catwalk held at the Galleria Carla Sozzani. During the show a due composed by Alex Soprano and Nick McCarthy from Franz Ferdinand delight the audience with an acoustic concert.
