Pitti Immagine Filati, the reference show for the world of yarns and knitwear at an international level, returns to the Fortezza da Basso from January 24 to 26, 2024, and presents all the trends for spring/summer 25. The section features a diverse combination of big names and companies that have always supported the mission of the fair, along with new entries and manufacturers with a global reach.

The event showcases the most important Italian and international spinning mills, the trends of tomorrow in the new Research Space curated by Angelo Figus and Nicola Miller, and the new proposals of the special areas Knitclub and CustomEasy.

Milestone is the title of the new Research Space. The stone which, since Roman times, marks distance on public roads. An invitation to a journey punctuated by stages in the sense of milestones of beauty and astonishment. An invitation to experience time at another speed, giving it a different weight. A journey through time and space to grasp and savor our planet’s extraordinary nature that goes beyond the imagination. And that includes the artificial as well. The trends develop in three color and tactile themes, inspired by thirty of the planet’s most inspiring places that are as real as they are incredible, and divided into three groups by special affinities and chromatic suggestions.

KnitClub is the Pitti Filati venue that showcases quality knitting mills. This is where buyers, designers, and style departments of leading international fashion brands meet the technical and creative excellences of the companies selected by Pitti Filati. Customeasy evolves to embrace the complex universe of Fashion at Work.

This edition presents 110 brands in total, including Art Design, E. Miroglio, Filclass, Igea, Ilaria Manifattura Lane, And Loro Piana & C. 71 exhibitors within the Yarn area, of which 8 from abroad (Japan, UK, Turkey, China), 23 exhibitors within the CustomEasy area, of which 1 from abroad (Japan), 16 exhibitors within the KnitClub area, of which 1 from abroad (Hong-Kong). Among the returns and new names, Filartex, Manifatture Tessili Bresciane, Essegomma (Filati area, Italy), Stoll, Gualchieri & Gualchieri, Simet, Naomoto Italia, Selene, Myguard, Maxima Design (CustomEasy, Italy), M3 Knitwear, Elsamanda (KnitClub, Italy).

An unmissable appointment at Pitti Immagine Filati 94 is also with the project D-house. A new collaboration that combines craftsmanship and technologies, the one between the designer Marco Rambaldi and D-house Urban Laboratory. In the urban laboratory stand, there are garments created by the designer Marco Rambaldi, a combination of knitting, 3D printing, and Swarovski. Thanks to the partnership between D-house Urban Laboratory and The Woolmark Company, the wools of Filatura Tollegno 1900 will be used. On this occasion, for the first time, an innovative process will be presented to the public, which consists of printing 3D printed bezels directly on the shirt, which will accommodate the wonderful Swarovski crystals, creating complex and at the same time luxurious garments.

Pitti Filati is again home to Vintage Selection, the reference show for vintage clothing, accessories, and design objects. "What's your time?" is the theme of the new edition of Vintage Selection, drawing inspiration from Pittitimes, the main theme of Pitti Filati. This event, dedicated to vintage culture returns, is open to the public and industry professionals, welcoming all enthusiasts at the Salone M.
