For this FW 24/25 season in Paris, TALK started with a big news: they announce their new permanent Showroom
TALK' Studio: 118 Rue de Tourenne - 75003 Paris

We have interviewed Jérôme Tordjmann, Ceo and Founder, who give us his vision about the streetwear and the creatives worlds today and told us about his passion and Talk' Studio.

When did your passion for streetwear start?
JT: My passion for streetwear was born during my youth in England. I grew up in the north of London before moving to New York State for 2 years in the early 90's. I've always been fond of basketball, American sports in general, rap and pop culture from a very young age. Back then, we didn't really put a name to streetwear; it was more of a "Way of Life".

What is Talk-studio's mission statement?
JT: Talk-studio mission is to help brands from the creative urban/streetwear scene to grow and to develop thru wholesale, retail (shop in shops in dept stores, pop ups...) and communication / marketing / events. We mainly operate in France and South Korea.
As Paris is the capital of fashion, it is very important for brands and draws a huge attention from all over the world every fashion season.
South Korea is also a very important market as it's a gateway to the Asian market.

What does "being a creative" mean to you today?
JT: Being creative today holds a specific significance. It's no longer just about creating clothes as mere fabrics. It's also about reinterpreting clothing once the design process is complete. For instance, Pharrell, who reinterpreted Louis Vuitton suitcases, is part of this process.

What does "streetwear" mean to you today?
JT: Streetwear has evolved. Previously tied to US rap and basketball, it symbolized a particular lifestyle. Nowadays, it's more about a contemporary, urban style of life regardless of ethnicity or gender.
