The 2010 Andam award was given to Hakaan Yildirim.

After Giles Deacon in 2009 (the current artistic director of the Ungaro brand), the commission prize of ANDAM Fashion Award 2010 was given to the Turkish designer Hakaan Yildirim.

Former student of the Fine Arts University of Istanbul, Hakaan Yildirim launched his own brand in January. The purse of 220,000 euros will give him the possibility to présents his collection during the Parisian fashion week in October, to create his French subsidiary and implement his studio in Paris.

Journalists and professionals of fashion and luxury composed the jury, chaired by Carine Roitfeld.
