The 2024 FW Seoul Fashion Week will be held for 5 days from Thu, Feb. 1 to Mon, Feb. 5 to showcase the latest trends for fall and winter 2024. The event consists of fashion shows featuring 21 brands (15 at DDP in Dongdaemun and 6 at S Factory in Seongsu) and trade shows with 68 brands and 300 buyers from home and abroad (100 from 14 overseas countries).

NewJeans was selected as the ambassador for Seoul Fashion Week on February 2023, and is continuing with the role this year as well. NewJeans will promote Seoul Fashion Week and K-Fashion brands to global fashion people by appearing in posters (group, individual) and videos for each season.

Hosted and organized by the Seoul Metropolitan Government, Seoul Fashion Week is a bi-annual series of global fashion business events. The event is operated strategically to become one of the most prominent fashion weeks in the world.
2024 FW Seoul Fashion Week expands its stage to Seongsu, which has emerged as the fashion mecca for the MZ generation and the gathering place for the latest trends in K-Fashion. This expansion aims to increase accessibility for the public and provide a more diverse experience opportunities for Seoul Fashion Week. Six brands such as Jiminlee, Conect®X, 51Percent, Fromwhere, 02 Armoire, and BLR will showcase their fashion shows at Seongsu SFactory. The venue takes advantage of Seongsu’s trendy location, leading to the latest trends such as youth and culture. The SFactory, remodeled from an old textile and vehicle repair factory, retains its raw and stylish audience.

68 apparel brands, merchandise, and jewelry brands including brands staged in the fashion show will be showcased in the trade show, and major department stores, boutique shops, online shopping malls, showrooms, and fashion-related investors from home and abroad will gather.

This year, the fashion show is happening 6 weeks earlier than last year. Due to the growing interest in K-Fashion across the globe along with more buyers visiting Seoul Fashion Week every year, Seoul Fashion Week will be carried out before Big Four fashion weeks (New York, Paris, Milan, London) to raise interest and capture the attention of major buyers and global fashion media.

Many Korean designers who have been active in Seoul Fashion Week for the past 20 years have entered the global market successfully, including Seunggun Park of Push Button, Yoon Choon Ho of Ych, Lee Hye Mee of Eenk, Bonbom Jo of Bonbom, and Song Zio of Songzio.

Seoul Fashion Week went digital during the pandemic and introduced fashion films shot at landmarks in Seoul. Various attempts have been made, including the runways in Korea's representative cultural heritages such as Gyeongbok Palace, and the fashion shows that combine various artworks and collections in the National Museum of Korea, the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, and the City Museum of Art.

Artists across various K-culture, such as movies, art, and music, have an inseparable relationship with fashion and create commercial issues through their networks, showcasing and exhibiting newer results, and linking them to sales such as pop-ups. Especially during the SS collection of Seoul Fashion Week in September, the world-renowned art fair "The Freeze" will be held, drawing attention from people around the world. Seoul will become a venue for SFW-led festivals.
