The 95th edition of Pitti Immagine Filati, the event that presents the best collections of knitting yarns worldwide, brings the dates forward by one day and will take place in Florence, at the Fortezza da Basso, from June 25 to 27, 2024 instead of from 26 to 28 of the same month, as previously scheduled.

"The decision to bring forward the opening of the show by one day comes out from a common reflection between us organizers and the overall body of exhibitors following a request started by the Consorzio Promozione Filati, which brings together a significant part of the spinning mills present at Pitti Filati," said Agostino Poletto, general director of Pitti Immagine. "The greatest concern was to avoid an overlap with the day before the historic departure of the Tour de France from Florence, scheduled for Saturday, June 29, a day that promises to be very rich in events and movements of guests coming from all over Europe, a day potentially affected by constraints on city mobility: this is why we immediately accepted the invitation of our exhibitors. The Tuesday-Thursday period does not change in any way the positive premises that we are seeing for the next edition of the show, presenting the collections for the autumn-winter 2025-2026 season which, for this reason, has an average stronger impact on the annual turnover of companies."

Edition no. 94 of Pitti Immagine Filati (24-26 January 2024) ended three weeks ago with very exciting results: 115 exhibitors, and 3,000 high-quality buyers, almost 1,200 of whom came from abroad, with the return of the most important Asian markets. An edition that also consolidated the offer of the special areas CustomEasy and Knit Club, as well as launching the new Academy training project, a collaboration between the Centro di Firenze per la Moda Italiana, Pitti Immagine, and UniCredit.
