Dover Street Market, the celebrated retailer founded by Rei Kawakubo and Adrian Joffe is preparing to open a new flagship in Paris, in the Marais district, at 35-37 Rue des Francs-Bourgeois, where Dover Street Market has had a showroom and its offices since 2021. The new space also hosts Dsm’s label development division, which distributes and supports several emerging brands including Airei, Erl, Honey F -king Dijon, Liberal Youth Ministry, Olly Shinder, and Phileo.

The store will become a place for forums and shared initiatives, which for two years has given space to pop-up stores, fashion shows, events, artists, young talents, and even a bookshop from 1909. The Parisian space will offer alongside the Comme des Garçons collections, a selection of avant-garde labels, young designers, and well-known luxury brands. Among the designers on display, is British designer Charles Jeffrey with his Loverboy label, which will present for the occasion a new take on some of its suits, chosen from the archives by Kawakubo.

Dover Street Market was founded in 2004 in London and celebrates its twentieth anniversary this year. In addition to the Parisian store, Dsm manages six concept stores worldwide in London, Tokyo, New York, Los Angeles, Beijing, and Singapore) to which is added the Parisian beauty store.
