e-P Summit, Pitti Immagine's two-day event dedicated to innovation in fashion and luxury, has concluded on April 10 at Stazione Leopolda, in Florence.

The first day ended with the gala dinner in Leopolda and the awarding of prizes linked to the Innovation Call, promoted by Pitti Immagine together with UniCredit: the e-P Summit Innovation Award (5,000 euros) and the support of the platform of business UniCreditStartLab.

The Summit's Scientific Committee had selected eight proposals from as many Fashion Tech Startups, from virtual fitting to chatbots from NFTs to rental or reuse platforms for waste and more. These are the selected startups: Arxy, Brandplane, Cloov, FashionChain, Indigo.ai, Proke, WeWear, ZeroW.

The start-up winner of the e-P Summit Innovation Award is ZeroW, an Italian company. ZeroW is a b2b platform that allows fashion producers to sell, donate, and recycle excess materials and waste to fashion brands, measuring and reducing their environmental impact.

Cloov has developed a SaaS (Software-as-a-service) solution that promotes circularity, allowing brands and retailers to launch a branded rental and second-hand sales platform, to optimize the value of unsold stock, returns, or defective items.

"The main opportunity offered by the Call and the final comparison to all the finalists consists in the possibility for startups to present these applications to a highly qualified audience, both on an operational and theoretical level: high tech, logistics, commercial, and retail managers of important fashion and luxury companies, university researchers, public-private accelerators and incubators, journalists and science communicators. The Innovation Call and the prizes linked to it are consistent with the objectives of the Summit and our partner UniCredit: digital innovation, new generations, sustainability," said Raffaello Napoleone and Rinaldo Rinaldi, ceo of Pitti Immagine and scientific director of the Summit.
