Felipe Oliveira Baptista appointed Creative Director of LACOSTE | Modem Mag

Felipe Oliveira Baptista will, from the 1st of September 2010, be taking over the position as Creative Director of the LACOSTE brand.

The 35-year–old Portuguese designer Felipe Oliveira Baptista is a graduate from Kingston University, winner of the Hyeres Festival prize as well as a two-time winner of the ANDAM prize. He was in 2005 invited to join the official Couture calendar and has since 2009 been presenting his own ready-to-wear collections during Paris Fashion Week.

Felipe Oliveira Baptista is succeeding Christophe Lemaire, who will be replacing Jean Paul Gaultier at Hermès.
The first LACOSTE collection with Felipe Oliveira Baptista as Creative Director will be presented for spring/ summer 2012.
