ARCOmadrid is a fair both for contemporary art professionals and art-lovers and the general public, with initiatives to suit their different interests.
Attended by more than 250 collectors from around the world and 150 special guests, the professional sessions focus on gallery proposals and are completed by a programme of round tables and meetings. The selected works range from historical avant-garde through contemporary classics to present-day art.

Gallery presentations at the 26th annual Art Show, organized by the Art Dealers Association of America (ADAA), featured thoughtfully curated solo, two-person, and thematic exhibitions by 72 of the nation’s leading art dealers. All ticket proceeds from the gala and run of show benefit Henry Street Settlement, one of New York City’s most effective social services agencies. AXA Art Americas Corporation also returned for the third consecutive year as Lead Partner.

Sharjah Biennial 12: The past, the present, the possible (SB12) will open on March 5, 2015 and will be on view through June 5, 2015. SB12 began to take shape in a private conversation between artist Danh Vo and curator Eungie Joo in early 2013. Together they discussed the relevance of contemporary art and the potential of artistic positions to imagine something beyond current states of social and political confinement—and the need for artists to play active roles in imagining the possible.

The British artist Jeremy Deller (b. 1966) is to design the IHME Project 2015 entitled Do touch. In this new work the public on their everyday rounds will momentarily be faced with their shared past, when museum objects leave their glass cases and make their way into the hands of city residents in public spaces in Helsinki metropolitan area.
The project is a collaboration with the following museums: National Museum of Finland, Helsinki City Museum, Military Museum of Finland, Customs Museum and Museum of Technology, possibly more.
