In spring which is the most beautiful season in Kyoto, the Festival will infuse the city during 24 days with photographic images selected from all over the world, being staged in Kyoto-esque sites such as temples and Machiya (Kyoto townhouse). Kyotographie aims at bringing Kyoto city,a city of arts and culture, together with photography and also strives to make photography permeate more in our daily lives by various collaborations with traditional craftsmanship of Kyoto. Making a hit with 90% of the exhibiting artists having sales during the show, with great support from world-class high-powered collectors, Art Revolution Taipei (A.R.T.) will launch its 3rd edition, running May 3-6, at Taipei World Trade Center Hall 3. Carrying further its dual curatorial axes – “presenting artists at the center of the exhibition stage” and “designing the entire art fair as a colossal artwork” – the 3rd A.R.T. features “My Revolution” as its annual theme. The entire exhibition will be designed into nine sections: Curatorial Classics, Taiwan Contemporary Art, China Contemporary Art, International Contemporary Art, New York Contemporary Art Fund, International Artist Juried Competition, Art with Entrepreneurs, Art and Design, and Art Your Compassion. It brings more distinguished artists to participate than before, with 237 artists from 42 countries.

MIA Fair is both an art fair and a cultural event that demands considerable effort from the curators. The eighth edition and for the third year in a row, the fair will be located at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Chelsea, with convenient shuttles running to and from the Frieze ferry, and the West Chelsea gallery district.

PULSE, a leading art fair dedicated to international contemporary art, will host sixty national and international galleries, presenting exhibitions that span across all media, from works on paper, painting, and sculpture, to performance, installation, and video art. Sous la direction de Stéphane Corréard, commissaire artistique, un Collège Critique constitué de professionnels a sélectionné cette année 71 artistes parmi 2 700 dossiers de candidatures. Chaque artiste retenu aura ainsi l’opportunité de proposer une exposition personnelle dans un espace scénographié par matali crasset, et de bénéficier d’un accompagnement individualisé par un membre du Collège Critique. Ce professionnel référent pourra ainsi conseiller l’artiste sur le choix des œuvres exposées et se chargera de rédiger un texte critique, ensuite publié dans le catalogue du Salon.

On July 1, 2011 MCH Swiss Exhibition (Basel) Ltd., a MCH group company and organiser of Art Basel and Art Basel Miami Beach, acquired a 60% stake in Asian Art Fairs Ltd. In 2013 ART Hong Kong will be replaced by the first Hong Kong edition of Art Basel. The Show will be directed by Magnus Renfrew, Art Basel’s Director Asia, and will take place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre [HKCEC] from May 23-26 2013.

The debut show will present more than 250 of the leading galleries from Asia, Europe, the Americas and the rest of the world, chosen by a selection committee composed of renowned international gallerists.

As in the established shows in Basel and Miami Beach, the new Hong Kong edition of Art Basel will draw more than 50 percent of participating galleries from Asia and the Asia-Pacific region. In the show's multiple sectors the exhibition will present the highest quality paintings, sculptures, drawings, installations, photographs, video and editioned works of the 20th and 21st centuries by more than 2,000 artists from Asia and around the globe.

Stockholm Photography Week is organized by and held at The Swedish Museum of Photography (Fotografiska).

The 2013 program includes an international portfolio review, open portfolio night, seminars and workshops as well as exhibitions. This is an event for both professional photographers and amateurs, as well as for the regular photographic exhibition visitor.

The Portfolio Reviews are one of the main events during Stockholm Photography Week 2013. This year, the reviews are divided into two sections: Fine Arts Portfolio Reviews and Commercial Portfolio Reviews.
