Glasgow International is the largest festival for contemporary visual art in Scotland, with over 60 admission free exhibitions, performances, and events taking place over 18 days across Glasgow.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the 2020 festival was postponed to 2021 and will now take place 11 - 27 June 2021.

Glasgow International 2021's theme is Attention. As much a method or approach as a theme, Attention asks us to consider how, where and in whom our attention is placed at a time of seemingly constant distraction through, for instance, social media and 24-hour news feed. What are the opportunities for close looking both in the making and viewing of art, and how we attend to others whom we care for, as well as ourselves?

With over 110 French and international galleries, the Lille contemporary art fair has become a “must” vote in for its diversity and the quality of the offer presented. Art Up! is a federative event attended by over 40,000 visitors, collectors, buyers and enlightened amateurs.

The Art Up! team has selected a new theme for the forthcoming edition: “The thread of art: how textile art, once solely intertwined with tapestry, has now become an art of the future?”. Moreover, many key moments punctuate this edition particularly with the exhibition « Revelation by Art Up! » which gives pride of place to young artists from the regions art schools. Such as the Art Night, which gives the artists the freedom to express themselves with many live performances.
